About
The World
Erina Vale was born on an island in the East.
The house she grew up in shone for guests; she learned early to read a room before reading books.
At nineteen, while others waited for ships, she boarded one.
Many countries later, she keeps what the crossings gave her — letters, objects, rooms, and the quiet between them.
Some debts, the living owe the unseen. She has her own way of paying them.
The rest of what she knows, she reads — the way she has read rooms since she was a child.
She does not wait at windows.
This is her collection. You are welcome to enter.
